Join us!

Our group is a part of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) at Georgia Tech. Opportunities available within our group and also broadly within EAS are listed here.

For more information on other relevant research groups at EAS, please visit the planetary science and solid earth science webpages.

Postdoctoral

There are currently no funded postdoc positions in our group. Potential postdoctoral scholars interested in collaborating on proposals for externally funded opportunities (through NSF, NASA, etc.) are welcome to email Indujaa Ganesh.

Graduate

We are looking for graduate students to join our group!

Research topics might include radar imaging of Mars' subsurface, radar and radiometric studies of Venus' surface, building and testing low-mass radars, numerical modeling and/or analog remote sensing studies to assist science planning for the EnVision mission. Students interested in geophysical instruments, signal processing, volcanology, and developing open-source tools are likely to enjoy working on these topics. Please contact Indujaa Ganesh with your CV and a brief description of your research interests before the graduate program application deadline (January 1). Students from non-traditional and diverse career paths are particularly encouraged to reach out.

Most up to date information on applying to the EAS graduate program can be found here. GRE scores are no longer being considered by the admission committee.

Undergraduate

Current undergraduate students at Georgia Tech interested in planetary science, radars, and volcanology are welcome to contact any of our group members to discuss potential research projects. Students can expect to work on modeling or data analysis oriented topics that will help in developing quantitative skills. Funding for undergraduate research is also available at GT through PURA awards and Federal Work Study program for eligible students.
